The Vanam Manam program was initiated to contribute towards sustainable development and environmental conservation. As part of this program, “Seed balls making” and “use of Jute products” have been promoted. The foundation encourages the stakeholders to make seed balls in the premises of our designated project areas and other selected areas as well. With the consistent efforts of the Foundation, nearly 70,000 seed balls were made, collected, distributed and dispersed in forest areas. The goal is to collaborate with nature during the onset of monsoon and co-create more green belts that help regulate more oxygen levels, cleaner air, improving the climate conditions, conserving water, preserving soil and supporting wildlife.
The Foundation conducted clean and green programs in various localities of Kadapa and Hyderabad regions by encouraging active participation from the youth. The Foundation also identified government schools that are in need of toilets and funded them for the construction of toilets.
Several plantation drives have been conducted along the highways as part of promoting the Swachh Bharat Mission.
Awareness programs on the Conservation of the Environment are organized regularly in schools along with several competitions for students to actively participate and prizes are distributed to the winners of the competitions.
